I have enjoyed looking at the old photos of life aboard the USS Illinois around 1910.My grandfather served aboard that ship from 1908-1909.I have photos of him and a silver medal which he received after assisting Messina victims. It is very interesting to see what the ship and crew looked like back then. Thank you very much!
