What a day we had in Homer, Alaska !! Out on Silver Fox Charters at the crack of dawn with our lunch, they do all the rest. The end result was over 300 pounds of filets of halibut which we took to be vacuum packed and frozen at Coal Point Trading company. Salmon and halibut are the two main fishes in Alaska for eatin, and each season a family can catch enough to feed themselves through the winter months. |
