Capt. Harold G. Edrington

 

Capt. Harold G. Edrington, MSC, USN Retired enlisted in the US Navy in 1937. During WW II he served aboard the USS Fuller (AP-14 / APA-7) in the South Pacific and was a veteran of the battle of Guadalcanal. He was commissioned an Ensign in Medical Service Corp. in 1943 and was one of the Corp's original plank-owners.

He was director of correspondence training at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda and a graduate of the U.S. Naval War College in Newport, R.I.

He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal w/star and the Meritorious Service Medal among others.
