Janet RN
PhD is engaged in research at University of California, San
Francisco , and is an Assistant Adjunct
Professor.
She is a
registered nurse, clinical nurse specialist, a student of genealogy, and a member of the Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Janet
is a member of the Oncology Nurses Society,
ONC certified, Oncology Nurses of Alaska, ANA,
AaNA, American Cancer Society,
Sigma Theta Tau and Golden Key Honor Society among
others.
Her professional education includes
Chabot College, and University of Alaska, Anchorage
where she matriculated with a BSN.
Her MSN and PhD were conferred by UCSF. Certification in
the field she loves, oncology, was obtained
while working in
radiation therapy at Providence Hospital in Anchorage.
Newsweek International
ranked UCSF as the 9th best University in the world. UCSF consistently
ranks in the top two nursing schools in the United States.
Janet loves to work in her garden, when she has
time and travel, given the opportunity. She is a loyal Lakers, 49ers
and Yankees fan. She has even been known to
volunteer for the Iditarod
