John and Maude John Wesley and Maude Irene were Janet's maternal grandparents. A large strong man who farmed the lands of Texas after the war and lived into his late-90s.They had eight children: John Wesley, Jesse, Florence, Laura, Pauline, Roberta, Thomas and Irene. John was quick witted and strong in spirit, Janet most remembers the wonderful laugh and the huge strong hands of her grandfather. |

 Janet Edrington, Grandfather John at 95, daughter Laura Ann John visited San
Francisco and went on all the sights, including being a strap hanger on a
cable car on the Powell & Mason line over to the wharf - a trip he
immensely enjoyed. John passed away at the age of 99. |
