As
the successful CEO of the 9th largest independent telco, Mr. Edrington was an
elected member of the USTA Board of Directors. In Pacific Bell his role of chief technical officer
and network planner for the the company was accomplished as Assistant Vice President
responsible for network technology planning, network equipment standards,
and technology strategy. Mr. Edrington created Project Victoria, the first
operationally deployed voice and data digital loop service for voice and
information access. While Vice President of Engineering for Raynet he
directed the research and design of the first large customer deployed fiber optic passive optical
network (PON) system for the loop.
CEO start-up roles include a) designing and building a 1.6 terabit fiber
optic transmission system and b) a mid-call service company producing a
voice-actuated system for on the fly, voice triggered, mid-call contextual
data acquisition.
Mr.
Edrington is a graduate of UCLA, the Stanford Executive Program, and the
Bell System Center for Technical Education .
