Thomas Edrington III was born in Philadelphia while Josephine was born in the Philippine Islands. Jo's parents (Glenn and Carrie) were from Wisconsin, Glenn managed Tidewater Oil (the original Flying A horse) throughout what was then the "orient". Thomas III carried on a family tradition of being in the Navy from his father who also served in the Navy and sailed with the Great White Fleet. Both were remarkable people. |
