Edrington's Global Supply Chain experienced another eventful year in the year to March 2024, marked by significant challenges and remarkable achievements.

Global supply chains have faced enormous pressure in recent years. Throughout 2023/24, our team has overcome external challenges that have tested our capabilities. In the first half of the year, we experienced significant volatility and inflation in Europe and the UK. In the second half, the tragic events in the Middle East forced us to reroute all shipments destined for Asia.

The lesson of recent years is that we cannot expect a 'new normal'; flexibility and agility will be central to our success in the coming years. Accordingly, we have made significant investments in Global Supply Chain. We have enhanced our capability to deliver the industry's finest liquid quality and finished products to customers and we have invested in sustainability to make material progress towards our Net Zero ambitions.

Agility, forward planning, and strong relationships have driven our current success, and they will continue to underpin our operations in the coming year.

I am confident that Global Supply Chain is well-positioned to deliver excellence safely and sustainably and is ready to support Edrington's long-term growth.
