Edrington's Global Supply Chain team has navigated a demanding period and delivered significant achievements this year.

The spirits industry has faced a number of pressures: sustained inflation affecting the cost of our operations, a change in demand patterns and ongoing geopolitical instability that has continued to disrupt global logistics.

Despite this, Global Supply Chain has remained focused on delivering for our customers and I am proud of our teams around the world, who have worked diligently to manage and mitigate these challenges and uphold the exceptional quality that characterises Edrington's products.

The constant task of managing volatility over recent years has forged strong links across the business and we have built a high level of collaboration between our operations and brand teams.

We have continued to make significant investments in sustainability this year, particularly at Highland Park where we have installed a new heat recovery system, capturing heat from whisky distillation to be used across the distillery operations. These upgrades in Highland Park's mashhouse will reduce both water and energy use across the whisky-making process.

A dedicated solar project in partnership with EDF Renewables is now complete and its 3000 panels are designed to deliver up to 25 percent of the annual electricity demand at The Macallan Estate.

Over time, these investments will not only support the delivery of our net zero targets but also help the business to manage its energy costs and security. I look forward to working with our key suppliers and our operational teams to make further progress in our net zero ambitions in the coming year.

In the Dominican Republic, we have completed new warehousing at our maturation site in Puerto Plata and at our global operations site in Glasgow we have opened our new Luxury Products department, which provides more facilities and room for growth as Edrington sharpens its focus on ultra-premium spirits.
